Purchasing Information
 

All of our puppies are very special to us, and the well-being of our puppies is very very important to us. We do our best to ensure that they only go to good homes where they will receive the love and care they are accustomed to. If you decide that Boxer Bark Kennels is the right place for you to adopt a Boxer puppy, please be ready to speak with us extensively. We have several questions we will ask before we approve you as a buyer. Also, be aware that we do reserve the right to recommend a particular puppy to you based on the information you provide us from our conversations and our experience in matching our puppies personalities and temperaments to the wishes, lifestyle and family considerations of our buyers.

When puppies are available:
If you are selected as a potential owner, you will then send us your $250.00 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit. We MUST receive your deposit within three days. Selection of puppies will be determined by the order of deposits received. The remainder of the purchase price plus shipping if needed will be due when the puppies turn 7 weeks 
old so that we can begin making shipping arrangements. If you pick your puppy up, any remaining balance will
be due at that time.

*The deposit is a part of the purchase price NOT in addition to.*

*Please be aware that we only have a certain number of puppies and each and every one of them is treated as if they were going to remain with us. We look for certain things in potential new owners, and just because you contact us and you have the money in hand does not mean you will be accepted as a potential owner. We have to do our best by our puppies and that means waiting for just the right home and family to come along.*

If we do not have any puppies available:
We do not accept deposits unless we have available puppies. We will however, accept your info, and contact you when we do have something available. We also put all updates of breedings/upcoming litters on our website, so you could always check there.

Price Information:

The adoption prices of our puppies start at $750.00 and go up. The price will depend on the exterior and the
bloodline of the dog as well as the color/markings of the dog.

*ALL pups sold as companion pets will be sold with AKC limited registration and a companion pet puppy contract. Spaying/neutering will be required and we must see proof that the procedure has taken place, i.e. note from your veterinarian on his/her official letterhead. PRICES ARE $750-$1000 FOR COMPANION PETS.

*ALL pups sold as breeding/showing prospects will be sold with AKC full registration, a breeding/showing puppy
 contract, and possibly on co-ownership. Each instance will be judged separately at our disgression. An extra fee
 will be applied to the adoption price. PRICES ARE $1000-$1500 FOR BREEDING PROSPECTS.

Selection of our pups will not begin any earlier than 4 weeks. This is so we can have some time to evaluate each of their personalities. We REFUSE to place pups based solely on color/markings. Your preferences will be taken into consideration, but we reserve the right to recommend a particular puppy.

Payment Options:

We except the following; money order, Western Union, or PayPal. When paying with PayPal, please add 3.5% to the amount.

 Our dogs are raised in a family environment, not in kennels. We spend a great deal of time with our puppies and it is our belief that this is the key to them being well socialized, and family-oriented. Our pups are raised in our home and receive plenty of play time outdoors, so that they stay in good shape.

The puppy can either be picked up or shipped. We prefer to have our pups picked up because we like to meet his/her new family. If you are willing to drive, so are we. If you are coming into the state from the East, we can meet you in Lafayette or Baton Rouge, from the West, we can meet you in Lake Charles, and from the North, we can meet you in Alexandria. There will be no charge to you for us to do this. This will save you, the new owner a minimum of 3 hours in total drive time. However, we will ship if it is more convenient for the buyer.
Shipping is extra and it is at the buyer's expense.
